Today Baby David came home. He didn't seem to care too much one way or another, just as long as the food kept coming and the diaper stayed clean. Even all the poking and prodding and screams from his three older sisters didn't phase him too much. The girls were very excited to see him, particularly Scarlett. She insisted on feeding him and fought off the other two to stake her claim on HER baby brother. She just kept smiling and saying, "Baby! Baby David! Shao David!! ("Shao" means "little" in Mandarin). Serena and Sadie were more interested in his swing and the camera than anything else but they'll come around. I think they're just happy Mommy is home.
Sadie: "Wow, look at the little guy....he's in a car seat like we used to have."
Serena: "I don't think I was ever that small...."
Scarlett: "Blue on blue. Fashion fauxpas. His hat and outfit....."
Serena: "He looks pretty comfortable in there..."
Sadie: "Look at his feet...they look like little monkeys. That's not good..."
Scarlett: "They're part of his outfit...it's supposed to be cute."
Serena: "Do you think I shoud fix his hat? It looks kind of crooked."
Sadie: "The feet....it's creeping me out."
Scarlett: "I think he looks just fine....he's my baby brother, you know."
Serena: "Sadie, stop obsessing with his feet!"
Sadie: "I mean, they're monkeys and they're furry. Are you sure they're part of his clothes and aren't his real feet?"
Scarlett: "I see what you mean...I wouldn't wear them but they are just clothes, you know."
