Pumpkin Festival

Today we went to the Pumpkin Festival down the road from our house.  They had rides, farm animals, food, and pumpkins!  We went into the petting zoo and saw goats, ducks, and even baby piglets.  They didn't like being picked up too much....but then again, neither do we sometimes.  It's kind of annoying being held there with your feet up in the air, you can't do anything you want....you know?

Scarlett:  "So is this it?  We're just supposed to sit here going in circles?"

Sadie:  "Yeah I guess so.  That's cool.  Hey, kid, what are you looking at?  Wait your turn."
Serena:  "Which kid?"

Sadie:  "That one over there in the red shirt.  He knows who he is."
Serena:  "Sadie, be nice!"

Sadie:  "A dragon with a red tummy, big blue eyes, with long eyelashes.....IT CREEPS ME OUT, OK!??!!  DADDY!  GET ME OFF THIS THING!!!!"

Sadie:  "This stem is kind of sharp..."
Scarlett:  "This hay is itchy on my....um....um....well it's just itchy, ok?"
Serena: "I think I like that pumpkin over there better.....the one being pulled by the tractor.  Daddy, can you get it for me?"

Sadie:  "There, that pointy piece is gone now."
Scarlett: "Ok, I'm done with the hay now.  Break out the hydrocortisone itch cream!"
Serena:  "Man.  I can't believe Daddy saddled me with this little baby pumpkin."

Scarlett:  "BIIIIIIGGG HUG!"

Sadie: "Boy, those little piglets sure do squeel..."
Serena:  "I like this one!  I want to make a jack o' lantern out of him with big eyes and a smile like THIS."

Sadie:  "You don't suppose, Daddy stepped on one of them with his big feet?"
Serena:  "Yep, I'd start on this side....it would be awesome!"
Scarlett:  "Maybe...it sounds a lot like you when he steps on yours!"
