Cowboy David

David:  "Well here I am at another one of these danged ol' rodeos."

David: "They say that one over there ain't never been ridden....."

David: "What if he bucks so hard he throws me off and then stomps on me?  But I can't look scared, there's girls watching my every move....."

David: "I'll just play it cool like the Marlboro man....."

David: "Naw, that won't work, Mom would never let me smoke....it's not good for me."

David: "I'll just flash one of these half-caring smiles and they'll know I'm totally calm and cool....."

David: "Then give 'em a flash of these brown eyes and they'll all be hanging on me...."

David:  "Back in the saddle again....nothing like tussling with an onery old bronco that thinks he can't be broken...."

David:  "Whoa....easy there feller....take it EASY!!!!"

David:  "I did it!"  

David:  "I took his best shot and held on for 8 seconds, no sweat!!"

David:  "Thank you!  Thank you!  Howdy!  Yes ma'am, I'll be around after the award ceremony..."

David:  "Tomorrow I'll be sporting that gold buckle the size of a dinner plate.  It's good to be king."

Oh Brother

Today we went for a walk down a nearby trail so all the kids could get rid of some of that energy that lets the climb the walls at home and not sleep at night.

David:  "I'm going to marry YOU, Sadie...."

David: "Tickle tickle tickle..."

David: "Well she's got me in the headlock......she better not try to kiss me..."

David:  "These are for you, Serena!"

David: "Just kidding!!"

David: "Ok, ok, I love you too, Serena.  Don't get all mushy on me."

Then it was off to the park to the swings and slides.....

Sadie Fishing

Today a fishing regular Scarlett took her daddy and sister Sadie fishing at the lake.  She promptly caught her first fish of the day and showed us how to do it right.....

And then before you knew it.......Sadie's eyes got wide.....

Her first fish!! With Sadie providing fish and a salad for dinner, we headed home to eat.....

Pajama Party

Serena, Scarlett, and Sadie:  "Today Grandma came and she brought us the most beautiful princess pajamas!!!"

David:  "Now I shall be known as Darth David, an insidious Sith Lord and master of the Dark Side of the force!"

David:  "And I even have a black cape so I can be extra scary!!  The force FLOWS through me."
