Letter Man

Little David just loves letters and has now learned both upper and lower case as well as numbers 1-10. Not too bad for a 19 month old little boy.  When he spots letters his little face lights up and he points and has to announce to everyone what he sees.  And when there aren't any letters, he sings the alphabet song for all around him....something that he's done numerous times in church!

Hockey Jockey

A few weeks ago we went to a friend's birthday party which was held at a hockey park.  They even had a rink made just for us kids.....

David:  "This is my net.  Don't even THINK about trying to bump me around down here.  I'll make you pay with a stick to the chops or a forearm shimmy..."

 Scarlett:  "Gosh, he's so forceful.....the defenses look impenetrable...."

David:  "MY net.  THIS ONE.  HERE.  You shouldn't even try...."

Scarlett:  "Maybe he's right, I can't score on that!!!"

 David:  "Out of the way, Mom, this is my home ice!  HIGH STICK!!!"

 Serena:  "Don't be silly, Scarlett....you move the puck like this...."

Serena:  "Deke and dive....."

Serena:  "Cross him up and set up the pass to Sadie....."

Sadie:  "Who bats home the slapshot!!!!  GOAL!!!!"

Serena:  "And I'm the MVP!!!"

David:  "Hey no fair, it's 3 against 1!!"

And then we all got 5 minutes in the penalty box for high sticking and taunting.  Mommy wants Daddy to install one of these at home.
