Spring Flowers

It's March so spring is right around the corner.....and when we think spring, we think.....FLOWERS!!  Daddy's not happy because he didn't get the exposure right but we don't care, we just think they're pretty!

Serena: "Look at all the flowers, Daddy!  I think I blend in just right!  Can you even see me?"

Serena: "Over here, Daddy!  I'm right in the middle!!"

Serena: "SNIIIIFFF!"

Serena:  "Ooooooo!  FLOWERS!!"

Serena: "I love this place!!!  They feel like part of the family!  Can we bring them home?"

Scarlett:  "There sure is a lot of pink here.  It kind of hurts my eyes!!"

Scarlett:  "Who's prettier--me or these flowers?"

Scarlett:  "Ok, you haven't answered, Daddy....you must think it's a tie!"

Sadie: "Ah yes....Delosperma cooperi...also known as the Trailing Ice plant or 'Pink Carpet'....."

Sadie: "It is a dwarf perennial plant native to South Africa which forms a dense lawn of purple long lasting flowers.  This is a splendid specimen...."

Sadie: "I sounded all scientific, huh Daddy?"

Sadie: "I really don't know that much about them other than they're pretty....and they make my nose kind of itchy....."
