Why Dad Never Works from Home

Aquarium Visit

Today we went to the aquarium!  We saw lots of fish, crab, lobster, jellyfish, and lots of other small things that live in tidal pools.


Mom, come and pet the sharks and sting rays!  Don't worry, they don't bite......hard.

Scarlett:  "Look at all those pretty rocks!  I like all the colors."

David: "Actually, corals are marine invertebrates that typically live in compact colonies of many identical individual polyps. The group includes the important reef builders that inhabit tropical oceans and secrete calcium carbonate to form a hard skeleton. Over many generations, the colony thus creates a large skeleton that is characteristic of the species."

David: "Dude, if you move that beak any further down and chomp my finger, I'm squashing you like a bug....."

We had lots of fun, Mom and Dad!!!

Happy Father's Day

Our Dad says he's the luckiest man in the world.  We haven't won the lottery yet, heck he doesn't even buy a ticket, so we don't know what he means exactly.

Hot Tub Party

David:  Jump in!  This hot tub is just one big beach party!

Roller Coaster

Oh boy, it's family day at Dad's work and they've got a roller coaster!  We can't wait!

David:  This is going to be so much fun!  It's a DRAGON roller coaster!"

David:  I see you Mom!!!!!

David:  This is go--WHOA!  HEY!  Slow down, lady!  Not so fast!

David: It's too BUMPY!!!

David:  How many times are we going to go around in this infinite loop of torture?  1,000???

Whew.....at least we got some giant popsicles.  It's the least Dad could buy us after sending us on that kamikazee machine....
