Happy Birthday to Our Little Girls

Today we're 5!  Being 4 was fun and all but we are expecting some BIG things now that we are 5.  All sorts of doors are now open to us and things will really start picking up.  We'll start school soon, we'll have homework to do, and Mommy and Daddy will have a lot of fun helping us get ready every morning so that we can be on time each day.  We can't wait!!

But that can all wait....we're having a pool party!!!

Daddy's little mermaids....

How long until the cake is ready??  It's taking forever to get these candles lit up....

Happy Birthday dear, Serena, Scarlett, and Sadie.....

Happy Birthday to YOU!!!!

Don't ask our wishes, they're a secret!

At least until we finish our cake.....

And went to Build a Bear, thanks to our Aunt and Grandma!!

Our little princesses are 5.......

Triple 5's

Hard to believe that it's almost been 5 years since the three little princesses came into our lives.....there's a lot more fun things to do, sweeties, and lots to learn.  We are enjoying every bit of it and look forward to the continued journey......

Sadie Bagel

This morning Daddy and I got up early and went to breakfast, just him and me.

Sadie: "What are you going to order, Daddy?"

Sadie:  "I'm going to order a BIG cinnamon raisin bagel....."

Sadie:  "WOW, look at the size of this thing!!!  It's HUGE!!!  Don't worry if we get a flat tire on the way home, Daddy, we've got a spare now!"

Sadie:  "Look everyone, I'm not going to eat for a week after finishing this thing!!!"

Fishing Buddies

Today David and I left the women at home and went fishing.  We rented a boat and hopped in for the 5 minute ride to our first spot.  While I was rigging his pole up, I handed him a plastic worm to hold onto and told him that was what we would be using to catch fish today.

A few minutes later I asked him for it so I could finish his up.  He didn't have it.  I asked him where it was and he pointed at the water and said, "There."

I said, "You threw it in the lake?"

"Yes."

"Why?"

"I was all done."

Great.  So I handed him another one and told him this time to hang onto it because we'd need it soon.  I finished rigging my pole up and then just as I was about to ask him for the worm, I looked up and saw him throw it in the water too.  "I'm all done."

Sigh.  So I put yet another worm on his hook and stopped as we got to the spot.  I cast it for him and immediately felt a tug and handed it to him.  He got the hang of it and reeled the monster in.....
