Hot Tub Time

Spring is here and it's just warm enough to get out in the hot tub....

David:  "I was all excited to dive into the pool but now look at me...."

David:  "I look ridiculous....just look at this big red floaty thing around my arms.  I can't show off the GUNS when this thing is covering them!"

David:  "But they do help me float and I can easily jump in now...."

David:  "I'll just jump right in and start paddling...."

David:  "and kicking with my feet....like THIS!!"

David:  "Hurry, Mommy, let's get in!! I can't wait!!  HOT TUB PARTY!!!!"

Red Alert

Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse around this place, Dad had to go and put this ridiculous fur hat on me.....

I always suspected he was a Communist.....but this boy's heart bleeds red white and blue.  I won't stand for no reds in this house....and I won't call you 'Comrade'.

Hoodie

Don't call me a thug just because I'm hanging out on the park bench in a hoodie, looking cool and checking people out.  Just because I'm sitting here with the hood up doesn't mean I'm trying to hide something......it just means that WIND IS COLD!  Let's get in the car and go home!

Pretend Birthdays

Daddy made us a chocolate cake so we had to have a candle and celebrate a pretend birthday!

Serena:  "I made a wish!!"

Sadie:  "Happy Birthday too me......"

Sadie: "I've got a great wish coming!!"

Sadie:  "With one quick breath of air it'll come true!!"

Beach Bums

David:  "Today Daddy and I went to the beach to catch some rays and check out the babes.  Well.... actually they spent most of the time checking ME out.  Well that water looks a little cold, pick me up high!"

David:  "You know, Dad....there's nothing like the rhythm of the ocean to clear the mind and get you thinking....."

David:  "It's like we're both walking this life together....you can look back and see the footprints of where you've been....but up ahead is smooth sand and rough waters...."

David:  "A boy can't go through these things on his own, you know?"

David:  "Sometimes he needs a little pick me up to keep him upright...thanks, Dad."

Maybe It's Maybelline

Sadie:  "I don't know why but my skin is just *GLOWING* today.....I wonder what color would help accent my eyes?"

Sadie:  "And whatever lipstick shade I get has to match my clothes and not be TOO crazy bright..."

Serena:  "I don't think I need any makeup....I'll go with the au natural look..."
Sadie:  "Sigh....poor boys.  They all wish I'd give them a smooch!  I almost feel sorry for them...."
