Basketball Legend
Yeah....I am a pretty dominant player on both ends of the court. When I get the ball, I take it TO THE RACK for the JAM! AND ONE!!

Gone Fishin'
This Memorial weekend, Daddy took us fishing. We rented a boat and sat waiting for him to catch a fish. We told him we didn't want him to catch a BIG fish, just a baby one. And of course, Daddy didn't disappoint.
Sadie: "Look at the long spiky fins on his back..."
Scarlett: "I want to touch his tail!"
Serena: "Yep, spot on Dad. We said a little one and you certainly got one...."
Sadie: "I think he likes my hat...."

Cruisin'
Hey Dad! Throw me the keys to the car! I've got places to go!
Ok, that girl behind me with the bag of chips is checking me out. Play it cool.....pretend not to notice....turn on some tunes.
Dude...Dad....really? AM talk radio? NOT cool.
Ok, is she still looking? Just glance over really fast but don't make it LOOK like you're glancing over really fast. How do I look? It fits me, RIGHT?
Um....ok....there's just one problem......How do I start this thing?
Can you throw a few quarters in, Dad?

Letter Learner
Little David LOVES letters. When we go somewhere and he notices words his face lights up and he points and tells everyone what the letters are. It's like, "Hey! I know that letter! I understand it!!! It's not all gibberish!!" He doesn't get all of them right yet but he gets most of them. It's pretty good for an 18 month old little boy. Oh, and he also is pretty good at animal sounds too. Check him out....

Happy Mother's Day!!
Dear Mommy:
Thank you for being such a good Mommy and taking care of me every day. I know it's not easy putting up with all of Scarlett's and Sadie's messes. I'll try to help them do better.
Love,
Serena
Dear Mommy:
I just want to say thank you for being my Mommy. You always pick out nice dresses for us and make our hair look so nice. When can we start wearing makeup? Maybe when I'm big and turn 4?
Love,
Scarlett
Dear Mommy:
I guess I have to say you're a pretty good Mommy. I mean, you give me lots of hugs and kisses. You make lots of food and there's always snacks and fruit for me to eat. There's toys for me to play with and Polly pockets are my favorite. Do I really have to share with Serena and Scarlett?
Love,
Sadie
Dear Mommy:
I'm sure glad you're my Mommy. It would be really bad if you were a little girl like my three sisters. I mean, they don't play with trucks, they don't care much for dinosaurs, and they don't get that excited about airplanes. They were dresses and are always changing clothes. I'm glad you're not like that, Mommy. Can we go dig up some worms and make them fight with the snails in the back yard? Don't you think that would be fun?
Love,
David
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY, MOMMY!!! We love you SO much! Thank you for everything you do for us! We hear people say it's not easy but we don't really know what they're talking about. We aren't wild..um...most of the time. We don't make messes...well....not maybe a little bit. We always give you plenty of notice when we need to go potty....we think. We always eat all of our vegetables and NEVER sneak any candy from the cabinet......at least not that we'll ever tell. But what do you expect, we're kids, you know?

Rewind Part 2
It's easy to look at this blog and think that the girls take great pictures and it's no problem at all to just go out and snap a few and have them always look great. Think again. In part 2 of the Mother's Day rewind, we go back more than 2 years to show what the real story was....
Scarlett
Sadie
David: "Sorry, girls, the cow trail is no place for women....the dust, the grime, the bad food, and foul language. Yep, the prairie is a place for REAL cowboys.....no womanfolk."
Scarlett
Sadie
David
Serena: "What's the matter, Scarlett, Daddy said if we smiled we'd get a piece of candy...."
Scarlett: "I saw him wink at Mom, he doesn't really have any!!:
Sadie: "He thinks we'll forget after this! Does he think we were born yesterday or something?"
Which over a few months evolved to this, the classic deer in the headlights pose.....
Serena: "Who is this lady making the funny faces?"
Scarlett: "FUNNY?? They're downright scary to me...."
Sadie: "Spots. I just see spots! That flash is blinding me!!"
Scarlett: "Hold hands, girls, it makes us look bigger than we really are. It's a classic defense mechanism....stand firm, they don't know we're bluffing...."
Sadie: "Whoa.....now she's in really close..."
Scarlett: "One step closer, lady, and you're gonna see some kiddy rage...."
Serena: "I don't think it's working, Scarlett...."
But fast forward to more recent times and you'll see just how far things have come. Now the girls LOVE to pose and to dress up.....
Serena
Scarlett
Sadie
And throw Little David in the mix.....
David: "Sorry, girls, the cow trail is no place for women....the dust, the grime, the bad food, and foul language. Yep, the prairie is a place for REAL cowboys.....no womanfolk."
Oh and they all wanted to take this opportunity to let you know that there's only 227 shopping days until Christmas...

Pool Party
Today it was really warm outside so we all put on our swimsuits and jumped in the pool!
Serena: "I'm on my tippy toes!!"
Scarlett: "I have a blue floatie!!!"
Sadie: "I'm a synchronized swimmer!"
Little David: "Kick Kick Kick!!"
Little David: "This Daddy guy is allright I guess...."
Little David: "But he's holding my hands so tight, if he pulls me under we're going to go a few rounds...."
Little David: "Let's get out and jump in!!!"
