Halloween Party 2!

Today we went to a city Halloween party.  There was candy and horseback riding and candy and face painting and candy!!  It was so much fun!

Sadie:  "Oh boy! Oh boy! Oh boy!  Look at all those ponies!!!"
Serena:  "Yeah.  Ponies.  They're um....kind of big."
Scarlett: "I'm going to ride that black one!"

Sadie: "This is so awesome!!"

Serena: "Sure...it's only a matter of time before this thing starts kicking.  I thought this was a Halloween party, not a rodeo!"

Scarlett: "My pony's name is Black Beauty....."

Scarlett:  "She's gentle, don't worry Daddy."

Face painting....

Scarlett:  "I want a blue butterfly to match my outfit!"

Serena:  "How does the pink butterfly look?"

Sadie: "It looks ok I guess, if you want to be a bug."

 Sadie:  "My turn?  Think again.....anyone who comes near me with those paints is going to get hurt.  Snow White didn't have butterflies on her face..."

And a chin-up bar for Little David...

David:  "Dad, watch me!!!"

David:  "97....98....."

Halloween Party

Today we went to a Halloween Party!  Every one was dressed up and we got to practice getting candy from people.  They wisely chose treats instead of our tricks!

Serena:  "This is great!  I'm so excited, I can't wait to get some candy."
Scarlett:  "Yeah.  Big deal.  We just ate breakfast and now candy?"
Sadie:  "How can I possibly smile when I'm sitting on this crowded bench with a tight dress and a wedgie?"
David:  "Dad, what's candy?"

Sadie:  "Boy, you've got a lot to learn......kid doesn't even know what candy is...."
David:  "Is it in the meat group?"

Serena: "Even though it seems like it, the picture taking won't last forever....."
Scarlett:  "I don't know we've been sitting here a long time...."

Scarlett:  "Hey look, that kids has some candy...."

Sadie:  "Yeah, but look at the size of that bag he's carrying....it looks like its a lawn and garden bag!  There won't be any candy left."

David:  "Is it a vegetable?"

Serena: "I'll bet he took all of the chocolate ones...."

David:  "I read somewhere that spiders make a web to catch candy...."

David:  "Then they EAT it all up when it gets stuck in it...."

David:  "All they have to do is just sit and wait for it to come to them....."
