Fun at the Big Park

Today we went to a big park and ran around with Mommy and Daddy. It was hot....but it was fun!!!

 Serena: "Ok, Dad, let's go....HYAH, MULE! HYAH!!"

Scarlett: "Holy smokes, Sadie, it's a bear!!!!"

Serena: "Run, Scarlett, RUN!!"

Serena: "Just hold on!  I'm coming!!"

Serena: "Great, how he's turned on me!  And of course Scarlett and Sadie ran off to save themselves!!"

Sadie: "Well, he got Serena, that should hold him off for awhile....HEY, he's still hungry!!!  RUN!!!"

Sadie:  "He's taking me back for a late night snack!!!!  HELP!!!"

Serena...

Sadie:  "Oh, he's going to grab me next...I just know it...."

Sadie: "He's going to grab me and tickle me...."

Sadie:  "And kiss me and tickle me...."

Sadie...

Sadie: "I KNEW IT!!!  NO DADDY!  NO!! DON'T!  STOP!  DON'T STOP!!!"

Little David: "And you think this walking is tough...I've almost got it down...."

Little David:  "  Yeah....I'm a pretty cool dude."

Little David:  "I don't care what anyone says....Mom's are a tough guy's best friend."

Little David: "2...1...and LIFTOFF!  Astronaut David is off to the moon! The youngest to ever orbit the Earth and beyond!!"

Little David:  "Dad's are pretty cool too....."

 

How Can It Be the Girls Just Turned Three?

Today was our 3rd Birthday party!  There was lots of food and presents and cake and presents and cake!  And people came too!  And they brought us presents!  And we ate cake!

Serena: "The cake is NEVER going to get here..."
Scarlett: "I think the whole thing is a ruse.  There is no cake."
Sadie: "Big Bird is on his last gasp....he starved waiting on the cake...."

Serena:  "THERE IT IS!"
Scarlett:  "I knew there was a cake!"
Sadie: "Wake up, Big Bird, salvation is here!  It's cake!!"

"Blow them out!!!"

"Don't worry, we're not spitting on it too much!!!'

Serena:  "Mine's still going!!"

 "WE DID IT!!!"

Serena: "I can't wait any longer....just one lick...no one will notice...."
Scarlett:  "Gross....someone smack her before it's too late."

Scarlett: "I can't believe you did that, Serena, it's bad manners to...."

Serena: "Good cake, Mom and Dad!!"

Scarlett: "It's ok I guess....."
Sadie: "Can't talk....EATING."

Build a Bear

Tomorrow is our birthday!  Daddy came home from work early and he and Mommy told us they were taking us to a special place.  They said our Grandma and Aunt had bought us a surprise.  We couldn't wait.

First we had to pick out our new friends.....they didn't look like much yet but that's because they weren't alive yet!  Then we had to pump some life into them....

Scarlett:  "Hang in there, this will help you feel better!"

Sadie: "No, Mommy, I got it....."

 

 Serena:  "My pink bear is alive!  I gave him a heart!"

Serena: "He's so soft and cuddly....I'll call him 'Bear'!"

Scarlett:  "Kitty cat!  You're so pretty...but you're naked...."

Scarlett:  "I better find you some clothes in a hurry....you can't be seen out in public like this!"

 Scarlett: "My kitty cat has a dress!  I will call you, 'Friend'...."

Sadie:  "My monkey is always happy....he looks at me all the time with a big smile like this:  "

Sadie:  "And he gives great hugs.....I love you 'Monkey'..."

David:  "Stop it, he looks nothing like me!  He doesn't have a cool Longhorns helmet!!!'

"Do you like our friends' clothes, Mommy?"

"Can we get some just like it for us?"

Sadie:  "Stop biting Big Bird, Monkey, he's not a banana!!!!"

"Let's go home!  Thank goodness there's airholes so they can breathe in that box!"

"Monkey, Friend, and Bear join our family.... Thank you Grandma and Aunt!!!"
