Going for a Ride

Serena:  "I've got to hurry and get ready, Scarlett's going to be here any minute."

Scarlett: "You about ready?  Hop in!  Let's go!"

Serena: "Let me finish putting on my shoes....I'm almost done."

Serena: "Actually....that's too much pink....I'm going to change to these black ones of Mommy's."

Scarlett: "Oh here we go again....they both look fine, let's go!"

Serena: "Ok, I'm ready, let's go!!!"
Scarlett: "We're so late...we should have left already!"

Phone Call

Today we sat outside on the patio to get some sun with Mommy.  While everyone read magazines, we each made a few phone calls.

Scarlett: "I'm going to call Daddy at his work...."

Scarlett: "One ring....two.....please be there..."

Scarlett: "Come on, Daddy, PICK UP!"

Scarlett: "HI DADDY!"

Scarlett: "When are you coming home?"

Sadie:  "My turn!  Hi Daddy!!!!"

Sadie: "I don't hear anything....did we get disconnected?"

Sadie: "Maybe the battery is dead...."

Serena: "Let me take a look at it....."

Serena: "No, it's working fine.  You must have accidentally hung up."

Serena: 'Just press redial....and....""

Serena: "Hi Daddy!  You're back!"

Serena: "Yes, I'm doing fine......what was that?  Yes, I'm being good.  Be nice and clean what?"

Serena: "Um....sorry, Dad, you started breaking up and there's a lot of static on the line....I think we're about to get disconnected again....I'llseeyouwhenyougethomebye!" 

Fireworks!

It's Independence Day and Mommy and Daddy said we were going to go watch fireworks.  They were worried that we'd be tired or wouldn't like the noise but we didn't mind at all!  It was really fun!

Mommy says there should always be fireworks as EVERY day is Independence Day at our house when it comes to us girls.  We're not sure what that means but we sure like FIREWORKS!  WOW!

Trip to the Zoo Two

Today we went to the big zoo in San Diego, California.  It was very hot, Scarlett and Sadie got sunscreen in their eyes, and we were all tired and grouchy.  Most of the animals seemed to be feeling just like us as they all sat in their houses, caves, or high up in their trees and slept.  We especially enjoyed these tall, skinny, pink birds....what are they called again?

Sadie:  "Fla MEEEEEEEEN GO!"

"Check 'em out!!"

Sadie: "Aren't they pretty?"

Serena: "I like how they sleep with their heads tucked into their wings..."

Serena: "Like this!"

Scarlett:  "I love our Family!"
