Hot Tub Party

It's the middle of January and Daddy said he was going to go outside and turn the hot tub on....whatever that is.  Mommy changed us into our swimsuits and put our hair up so it wouldn't get too wet...and off we went.

Scarlett:  "Yeah, well you wouldn't smile either if your having a hair day like this one."


Scarlett: "But then again, Daddy says I look kind of cute so it must not be that bad...."

Scarlett:  "Ok, I guess I like it.  My bangs are out of the way and I think we get better radio reception now."


Sadie: "This is the biggest, scariest bath tub I've ever seen!  I don't think I like it at all."

Sadie: "But, hey!  That means there's a lot more water to splash around!"

Sadie: "I changed my mind!  This is FUN!"


Serena:  "So what's the big deal?  I think this is just a sneaky way to get us to take a bath."

Serena:  "Oooo hey! Is that a snack???"

Serena:  "I'll take two of those!!"

Serena:  "That's not food!  It's soap!  This is a bath!!!!"

We're not sure who wears the pants in this family, but one thing's for sure.....Daddy wears the BOOTS.  Good grief, these things are huge!  How in the world he can walk around in these things without falling over is beyond us.


Serena:  "I'm stuck!  Help please!!!"



Serena:  "Awww, Mom!  Get me out!!!"



Scarlett:  "These things weigh a TON!!!  I can't move!"


Sadie:  "Do these make me look taller?"


Sadie:  "How about now?"

Happy New Year!!

We just can't believe it's 2011 already!  2010 went by so fast it was all a blur!  We've been growing fast and have learned all sorts of new words:  "Mom, Dad, Dog, Cat, Moo, Meow, all sorts of growling noises, diaper, and Nai Nai," which is Chinese for "milk"! 

Here's our big family, Daddy, Mommy, Sadie, Scarlett, and Serena:

Mommy can almost hold all of us if we cooperate!

Daddy and his long grape-ape arms wrap us up no matter how much we fight it.

Sadie shows Mommy a thing or two about fashion.

Serena:  "See what happens when I'm not buckled in?  I can STAND!"
Scarlett:  "Hey, look at that bird over there!"

 Scarlett:  "I think it has a bug in its mouth....."

 Serena:  "Eeeww, I think he's going to eat it!
