Playing Footsies

They have some of the neatest carts at Target that fit two of us at once!  Of course the ride doesn't make the whole experience any more entertaining.....

Sadie:  "Why do I have to sit here and Serena gets to ride in a single stroller?"
Scarlett:  "Mmmm...smack....snort.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!"

Walmart actually has a super stroller that we all can fit in!

Serena:  "What was that flash???"
Scarlett:  "It's that camera......AGAIN!!!!!!"
Sadie:  "Just ignore it like I do."

Of course, the arrangement does have its advantages.  We get to play footsies the whole time and Daddy gets to watch us every second to be sure we don't drive off and leave a shoe somewhere in the store!  Check us out in this video!

Christmas is Here!

It's Christmas Eve and we're way too excited to sleep!  Santa is coming tonight which didn't make us too happy until Mommy said something about him bringing presents!  So maybe the whole snafu at the mall when we saw him won't mess things up after all!

Serena:  "I'm going to stay right here and keep on eye on the fireplace!  Do we need to open the glass doors on it?  Can he still get out?"

Serena:  "This red flower is my favorite ornament...."

Scarlett:  "Santa Claus his coming tonight.....he's making a list, checkin' it twice.  Gonna find out who's naughty or nice.

Scarlett:  "I've been very nice!  I just know I've been good!"

Scarlett:  "Ok, I take that back....I've been BAD! MWUH-HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!"

Sadie:  "This snow flake is my favorite ornament....even though I've never seen snow before."

Sadie:  "Me and Bear are going to sit right here and wait for Santa to come here so I can be sure I get everything I wanted!"

O Christmas Tree

"O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree......"  Um...that's all the words we know of that song so far.  In fact, we really just know, "TREE!" of which is mandatory to point and shout at the top of your lungs when it first comes into view.  The ornaments are so shiny, the red ribbons are so tempting, and the garland is gold and just begs to be touched.  For some reason, mean ol' Mommy and Daddy won't let us touch it at all!  But we do it anyway when they aren't looking.

Serena:  "Rockin' around the Christmas tree......"

Scarlett: "These boots are made for walking...and that's just what they'll do! I know that isn't a Christmas song but I just felt like singing it anyway."

Sadie: "I still can't believe I didn't tell Santa anything I wanted. What if he really does only bring more diapers?"

There's Santa Claus!!!

Today we went to the mall and we were stunned to see SANTA CLAUS!  In the flesh!  Right here!  At the mall!!!  What are the odds of that??  Talk about impeccable timing!  Well we had to hurry up and go through our list right then and there in preparation for telling Santa exactly what we wanted for Christmas.

Santa was a little confused as to who would go first and then had to make some quick planning so that we all could sit on his lap at the same time.

Just when it was time to tell him what we wanted, we clammed up!  We couldn't think of anything at all!  Just bring us some new diapers and a couple gallons of milk, but get us off of here now!!!

As we were being packed back into our stroller, still recovering from the whole trauma of the man in the big red suit, WE REMEMBERED!  We hadn't asked for one single thing on our list!  Surely he'd know, wouldn't he?  We'd get some toys and not just diapers, right?

A Walk in the Park

It's been a long time since Daddy posted anything here.  He keeps saying that we keep him very busy and that he has no free time at all but we just think he's being lazy.  After all we know for sure he sleeps at 4am because we've each taken turns screaming to wake him and Mommy up just to keep them on their toes.

On Saturday we went for a walk in the park.  Mommy took our socks off and let us run around in the grass.  It was so much fun watching Daddy chase after us as we each ran in our own separate directions.  We're thinking of starting our own workout video because by the time we were through, Daddy looked exhausted.  It had to be great cardio for him.

Serena:  "Here, this is for you!  What is it?"

Scarlett: "Daddy has the camera again...."

Scarlett: "I'm moving over here out of the way!"

Sadie:  "You can take pictures of me throwing my ball, Daddy!"

Scarlett:  "Hey!  What does Serena have over there?"

Serena:  "Come and look at this, Scarlett!"

Serena:  "Here, this is for you...."
Scarlett:  "What is it?  It better not be a bug....."

Scarlett:  "Oh....it's just a...um.....what is it?  LEAF!  Show it to Daddy."

Serena:  "Here you go, Daddy."

Serena:  "This is for you!"

Scarlett:  "I'm going to go over here and see what Sadie is playing with."

Sadie:  "What is all of this hairy stuff?"

Sadie:  "This one is really weird looking...."

Sadie:  "What did you say this is called, Daddy?"

Sadie:  "Hey, it blew away!"

Serena:  "I got it back....here it is!"

Scarlett:  "Who wants to play with the ball with me?"

Sadie:  "I will!  Throw it here!  I got it!"

Serena:  "I'll bet you can't hit me with it!"

We also saw lots of birds that we had never seen before.  They were flying all over the place!

We fed the ducks some of our crackers but they didn't like them too much.  I think they were scared of our giant stroller.  It was a fun day and before Daddy could get the car out of the parking lot, we were sound asleep......
