Hello Kitties

Today Mommy put us in our Halloween costumes.  We have no idea what that is but she said it had something to do with some treats that are tricky or something like that.  We've never seen a cat before but Mommy said that we are the cutest kittens ever!

Serena:  "How do we look?"
Scarlett:  "Is it on right?"
Sadie:  "This thing is stuffy.  I think I look silly...."

Serena:  "Ok, that's it....I'm outta here...."
Scarlett:  "Yeah, let's walk over there...."
Sadie:  "Huh??  Where are you guys going.  You can't leave me here!  Wait! I can't walk that far yet!"

Serena:  "Hey what's over here?"
Scarlett:  "I see a toy over there...."
Sadie:  "Great....I'm stuck."

Serena:  "Mommy, can I have something to eat?"
Scarlett:  "Almost there....just a few more steps."
Sadie:  "I'm  STUCK."

Serena:  "Hurry I'm hungry..."
Scarlett:  "Got it!"
Sadie:  "I'M FREAKIN' STUCK!"

Scarlett:  "Cool, I just found the phone!"

Scarlett:  "Hey, what's that noise??"

Serena:  "I got it.  I GOT IT!  Nobody move....no one has to get hurt here.....just STAY calm!"

Serena:  "Awww, MAN!!  They hung up!"

Serena:  "Why would they hang up???"

Serena:  "Was it something I said?  I just said, 'Hello" and they HUNG UP!"

Serena:  "You guys still love me, right?  I'm somebody right?  I guess I shouldn't take it so personally....

Scarlett:  "I'm doing the stray cat strut!  'I got cat class and I got cat STYLE.......'  "

Scarlett:  "How did I sound?  Didn't I sound just like them???"

Sadie: "I've been stuck here forever....my legs are getting tired."

Sadie:  "I think I'll sit down for a minute."

Sadie:  "Hey wait a second!  Cats walk on four legs!  I can crawl all over the place!"

Sadie:  "I want chicken....I want liver.... Meow Mix Meow Mix, please deliver!"

Sadie:  "I can hide just like a kitty does too!  Can you find me, Daddy?  Meow!!!"

New Mobility

The babies are able to walk to varying degrees which have given them far greater mobility.  In just a few seconds they can be all the way across the room and into trouble before you know it.  They also have been climbing in, on, over, and under all of their toys.  Serena has even slid taller objects like her slide and and chair over in front of the gate of the playroom in a bid for freedom.  Both times we caught her just as she was going over the wall.

Today I heard all kinds of banging in their room and came to see what was going on.  The plastic sink had been removed and the cabinet door was being banged opened and closed........Sadie had found a new place to hide and play.

A Walk in the Park

Today we went to the park to walk around and enjoy the beautiful sunny day.  Mommy put us in our flower dresses and away we went.  We get so excited and simply can't sit still for pictures but Mommy and Daddy try anyway.

Serena:

"How do I look?  What's my hair doing?"

"Do what?  You want me to sing a song, Mommy?"

"What about you, Daddy, do you want me to sing?"

"Ok....but I'm only going to do it one time so listen carefully!"

"Do-ray-me-fa-so..."

"La-te-DO!!!!"

Scarlett:

"This is the neatest little flower I've ever seen....."

"This grass tickles my feet!  Look, Daddy, I can walk!"

 

 "Whoa...it's a little slippery!"

 

 

"Careful.....left foot, right foot...."

"Hey look, Daddy, I didn't fall!!!"

 "Here I come....get your hands ready...."

"Ok, catch me, Daddy!  I made it!!!"

Sadie:

"You want me to sing a song too?"

"Hmmm...I don't really know any songs yet.....how about my opera finale?"

"LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!"

"Hahahaha!!  That's so silly, DADDY!"

Then Mommy and Daddy took us to a different spot where there were lots of fallen leaves and this little fuzzy plant growing all around.


Serena:  "What's this purple fuzzy looking thing?"

Sadie:  "Yeah, it's funny looking!!"

Scarlett:  "I'd rather just play with the car keys!!"

Sadie:  "Look at this big brown leaf!"

Sadie:  "What kind is it?"

Sadie:  "Oh...I've never heard of it.....Daddy probably just made it up anyway."
