Home Buffet

Mommy gives us all sorts of great things to eat.  Cereal, yougurt, figs, watermelon, toast with jam, blueberry waffles....all sorts of stuff.  Today we had macaroni and pretty much all of the above.  Variety makes all the difference as we're growing like crazy!

Serena:  "Let's see....I've got cheese, I've got bread, and I've got watermelon...."

Serena:  "Would you like some?  I'll share!"

Let's Play House

We love to play house.  We have a red love seat and a full kitchen set that keeps us really busy.  We can cook all kinds of stuff in there but we're still working on the taste.....

Sadie:  "What do you mean you don't like my cooking?"

Sadie:  "Then I'll just sit here in the red chair and be Queen Sadie.  I'll take some milk, peon...."

Scarlett:  "Can I sit in it?"

Scarlett:  "Oooo, it is comfy!"

Jazzercise

These days the styles from the past are back IN again.  Mommy dressed us in legwarmers and said they're from the 80's.  We're not sure how long ago that was but it sounds pretty far.  What it cold back then that people had no other way to keep their legs warm?  She thinks we should start taking jazzercise, which we have no idea what it even is......but we do know we make these outfits look GOOD.

Scarlett:  "Are they on right?"

Scarlett:  "What about from the back?"

Sadie:  "I think they look good from any direction!!"

It's Football Season!!

It's football season again!  We've been waiting what seems like forever and it's finally here!  Every Sunday we'll be sitting on the couch with Daddy, glued to the TV watching every minute of the game.  This has to be our year!  The Super Bowl has just gotta be a home game for us!

I'll bet you can't guess who our favorite team is!

Serena:  "#72 has always been my favorite player!"

Scarlett:  "I'll just stand here on the sidelines and cheer...."

Sadie:  "Put me in, coach!  I'm way better than THAT guy!"

Serena:  "I hereby swear that the Cowboys have always been and will always be my FAVORITE team!"

Sadie: "Here's what I think of you Redskins!!!  Same with the Eagles too!!!"

Watermelon Dresses

Today we sat out in the back yard and wore our most favorite dresses.  At our birthday party we tried watermelon for the first time and loved it so much that our watermelon dresses became our favorite.

Serena: "I'm sitting real still, Daddy, just like you asked."

Serena: "Being fashionable is SO glamorous, DAH-ling..."

Scarlett: "Yellow is my favorite color flower....."

Scarlett: "Actually, I like ALL flowers!  They don't have to be yellow!"

Sadie: "I don't know why you've dragged me out here, Daddy but I don't care, it's funny!"

Sadie:  "Ok...hold still...don't move....there's a big pink thing on my head....ok, Sadie, DON'T panic.  DON'T....move....a muscle.......and maybe it'll go away by itself."
