Seeing Red

Daddy was gone all week but now he's back.  To celebrate, we all dressed in red and piled on top of him.  He sure missed us so we had to love on him and remind him how cute we are.

East Meets West

Chinese New Year is coming up in a few weeks so to help us get ready to celebrate, we put on our Chinese dresses.  We're so multi-cultural......

Serena:  "You DARE approach the Princess upon her throne????"

Serena:  "Huh!  So this is how the lower class dresses these days...."

Scarlett:  "The Princess will listen to your request......"

Scarlett:  "Hmmmm....I'll think about it........"

 

Sadie:  "Sigh.....what do you want, peon?"

 

Sadie:  "Yawn.....This BORES me......"

We're 5 Months Old Today!!!!

Today we are 5 months old!  We feel like this is a pretty good age.....we certainly aren't little girls any more.  We're practically grownups!  To celebrate, Mommy put us in our beautiful dresses and we took pictures.  We were all so happy with how we looked we couldn't stand it!

After all that posing it was time for bed.  We were exhausted.

  

 

Couch Potato

Today we sat on the couch and just relaxed.......that's what Sundays are for!

Scarlett :  "Don't bother me, my favorite show is on."

Sadie:  "Pass the chips please....."

Serena:  "Down in front!  DAD!!  YOU'RE BLOCKING THE TV!"

Scarlett:  "This show is HILARIOUS!!!!"

Sadie: "Hey!  Are you going to eat all of them???"

Serena:  "Just kidding, Dad, you can sit by me!"

Our Big Girl Chair!

One of our friends brought us our very own chair to sit in.  Boy oh boy, at last!  No more laying in the swing or being propped up by a pillow.  We've got our own Big Girl Chair!  It's actually really comfortable and Mommy says it helps our necks grow stronger.  We don't know about that, but it sure is FUN!

Serena:  "Ahhhhhhh.......so nice."

Serena:  "How do I look?"

Scarlett:  "What in the world is Daddy doing?"

Scarlett:  "HE'S FUNNY!"

Sadie:  "Oooo....hey!  This IS comfortable!"

Sadie:  "My turn is up?  Maybe if I sit really still Mommy won't notice."

Tummy Time

Every day we are supposed to get at least 20 minutes on our tummies so that our necks will get stronger and we can learn to sit up.  We have our pink body pillow that helps us with this; it gives us something to lean on and holds us in place.  It's ok for a little while but if no one plays with us it gets a little boring.....and then we get cranky.  Of course sometimes we're just cranky anyway, but that's another story.

Sadie:  "MOM!  How much longer do I have to sit here?"

Serena:  "What the..??  There's that camera again with that annoying flash."

Serena:  "I just love watching all that faces Daddy makes at me to try to get me to smile.  Nice try.....not gonna work......please....hey that one is actually pretty funny!"

Serena:  "I think I just saw a bug over there......"

Scarlett: "Hey!  I saw it too!"

Scarlett: "3rd down.....I hope that Cowboys make it....please make it.......please....."

Scarlett:  "TOUCHDOWN!   I knew they'd make it!!!!"

Scarlett:  "24-0.......this game is getting boring.  I wonder what my hair is doing?"

Happy New Year!!!

It's the new year and we are still feeling the effects of last night's party.  We think we had a little too much milk to drink and things got a little crazy when we put on our flowers and started dancing.  We got so wiggly when we watched the ball come down in New York and helped count down the end of 2009 and welcomed in 2010.

Serena:  My new year's resolution is to try to drop the binkie habit.  Even though Gerber says that binkies are not addictive we're not so sure.

Scarlett:  My new year's resolution is to give Mommy lots more kisses.

Sadie:  I'll bet you two binkies that you can't guess what my new year's resolution is.
